I’ve had my Terminator for over 2 years… First tried XP, then tried linux… Gave up and have been running 2k for over 2 years now. I use it as a file server. 1x IDE 60gig for primary boot, and 2x 250gig in Raid-1. It also runs my Azureus and fits great on my bookshelf!

I’ve run into the same problem. Come to find out, Ubuntu Server is optimized for i686, and unfortunately the C3 is not fully i686 compatible. Specifically, it doesn’t support the CMOV op, so the default Ubuntu Server 686 kernel just barfs and reboots immediately. There’s an “alternate” install where you do it all by hand, but almost not worth the trouble…
